Brainerd residents should definitely be going to this guy and his company for all pest control needs!Jodi DeJong-Hughes2024-02-07We don't have any local pest control options in the Benson and Danvers area, but I called Luke even though he is an hour and 20 minutes away. He was very willing to come to our house to discuss the mice getting in the house. He went along the foundation plugging tiny holes (even under the deck), set traps, and he checks the traps every month. He's been delightful to work with and is very kind. I would strongly recommend him!Lisa Schoons2024-02-06Had Complete Ground Cotrol come to my house and other property to address bird problems on the exterior of houses. He thoroughly inspected the issues and came up with a game plan. Also have used them for mice control as well. Highly recommend this company for all your pest control needs. They are located in Alexandria, MN but they service St. Cloud and surrounding areas.Karin Wantz2023-11-24Luke is 100%the real deal when it comes to any pest control. He responds quickly, asks helpful questions, and has been able to come out to our property quickly! You have an underground wasp nest…he will safely and completely remove the problem. Our most recent rodent problem happened Wednesday night before Thanksgiving with guests arriving and Luke came out Thursday morning to assess the issue and do all the necessary steps to make us and our guests more comfortable. Each service he has done on our property has been effective and professionally handled. Highly recommend!

The house fly is the most common fly found in and around homes. These pests are not only annoying they also can carry serious diseases. Females can lay over 9000 eggs in their short life time usually living only 2 weeks to 1 month.
Sanitation is key. Properly dispose of any organic matter such as vegetables or food by products where house flies might lay eggs. Discard these materials inside garbage bags and tie bags securely. Clean garbage cans and dumpsters weekly. Treatments include the use of crack and crevice treatments with residual insecticides, baits, traps, and aerosols. Light traps when properly installed and maintained aid in control and early detection of infestations.
House fly prevention includes insecticide treatments, exclusion practices and proper sanitation. Caulk or seal all entrance points around home. Check all weather sills and thresholds on windows, doors and garages. Check all screens on windows, doors and vents.
Fruit flies like the name suggests are attracted to ripened or fermented fruits and vegetables. Adult fruit flies are very small about 1/8 of an inch long and usually will have red eyes. Fruit flies are primarily considered a nuisance pest but do have the potential to contaminate food with bacteria and other disease producing organisms.
Identify fruit fly breeding locations and correct issues. Check and clean garbage cans, recycling bins, areas where liquor bottles are stored, mop rooms, fruit and vegetable storage, sink and floor drains, floor mats, and around leaky pipes.
Elimination of breeding sites is the only way to eliminate fruit fly infestations. Dispose of rotting fruits and vegetables, empty and clean trash bins and recycle bins, replace old mops sponges and dish rags, keep dishes clean, clean drains, clean kitchens and bars thoroughly, make sure liquor bottles and other stored foods are sealed tightly. The use of Cider vinegar traps aid in treatment.
Immediately throw out rotting fruits and vegetables and keep storage areas clean. Empty and clean trash and recycle bins regularly. Change sponges mops and dish cloths often. Keep sinks, dishwashers, garbage disposals and drains clean and free of standing water.
Drain flies are also known as moth flies these tiny flies breed and infest in the organic matter that can build up inside moist drains, mop rooms, gutters, around leaky pipes and other areas such conditions exist.
Inspect and monitor all drains in your home and any area inside or outdoors with standing water. Partially cover drains with clear tape sticky side down. This will trap drain flies and identify problem drains.
The key to drain fly control is the cleaning and removal of breeding areas. Pesticide treatments speed the control of drain flies and should be made to cracks and crevices in bathrooms, mop rooms, dumpster and garbage areas, around windows and house plants. There is no benefit to cleaning drains with bleach or ammonia.
Keep drains clear of clogs and free of organic matter and gunk. Clean toilets, garbage cans, recycling totes, sinks and dishes and eliminate standing water. Do not over water house plants.
Cluster flies are a common fall invading insect. These pests invade homes in the fall looking for a warm protected place to survive the winter.
Cluster fly treatments require thorough exterior treatments to prevent entry into the home. These treatments are of particular importance on warm sunny sides of the building. Also baits are available in liquid and granular form. Fly lights are commonly found in restaurant’s and other commercial buildings.
Cluster fly prevention includes insecticide treatments and exclusion practices. Caulk or seal all entrance points. Check weather sills and thresholds on windows, doors and garages. Inspect and repair screens on windows, doors, and vents. Dumpster areas should be kept clean and lids should be tight fitting and secure.
