John King2024-03-22 Always, ALWAYS an amazing job! I have a cabin deep in the woods near a lake and had TONS of critters (ants, bees, mosquitoes, mice, etc.) before Complete Ground Control. Now, nothing! My cats are bored, and it's great! Easy to work with and highly recommended. Michael Scrafford2024-03-22 Luke has been our pest control partner for over two years after the previous company we worked with couldn’t solve our mouse issue. Complete ground control has been a big help. Great communication and diligence. Thanks Luke! Daniel Schlapkohl2024-03-22 Great work! Fair prices! Always fixes issues promptly! David Schmitz2024-03-02 Luke helpfully answered questions on a Saturday afternoon with a concern I have with Squirrels in my neighborhood. 5 stars! Derrick Dorion2024-03-01 Luke was very helpful, informative, and super knowledgeable! Brainerd residents should definitely be going to this guy and his company for all pest control needs! Jodi DeJong-Hughes2024-02-07 We don't have any local pest control options in the Benson and Danvers area, but I called Luke even though he is an hour and 20 minutes away. He was very willing to come to our house to discuss the mice getting in the house. He went along the foundation plugging tiny holes (even under the deck), set traps, and he checks the traps every month. He's been delightful to work with and is very kind. I would strongly recommend him! Lisa Schoons2024-02-06 Had Complete Ground Cotrol come to my house and other property to address bird problems on the exterior of houses. He thoroughly inspected the issues and came up with a game plan. Also have used them for mice control as well. Highly recommend this company for all your pest control needs. They are located in Alexandria, MN but they service St. Cloud and surrounding areas. Karin Wantz2023-11-24 Luke is 100%the real deal when it comes to any pest control. He responds quickly, asks helpful questions, and has been able to come out to our property quickly! You have an underground wasp nest…he will safely and completely remove the problem. Our most recent rodent problem happened Wednesday night before Thanksgiving with guests arriving and Luke came out Thursday morning to assess the issue and do all the necessary steps to make us and our guests more comfortable. Each service he has done on our property has been effective and professionally handled. Highly recommend!
The adult house mouse is quite small about 1 to 2 inches long excluding the tail. The tail is the same length as the head and body combined. They are excellent climbers and can run up any rough vertical, surface. Mice are able to squeeze through a hole as small as the width of a pencil. A mouse will typically travel no more than 30 feet during its regular daily activities like food gathering.
Mice spread disease through their feces, urine, and the parasites they carry. They also frequently cause damage to homes, cars and machinery because of gnawing. Mice gnaw continually to wear down their incisor teeth which grow very quickly.
Adult fungus gnats emerge from the soil and can become a nuisance.
During inspections we check for droppings, gnaw marks or holes, damage to food or food containers, and rub marks in areas of high activity. These are areas where traps should be set or rodenticides should be placed.
A thorough inspection of the outside of the home should be made looking for any areas mice could gain entry to the home. Common areas include the foundation, around windows and doors, electrical and plumbing lines, vents, attached garages, chimneys and dormer areas.
To properly control mice sanitation is key. We utilize rodenticides, traps, monitoring devices and exclusion techniques to control and prevent mice infestations. We put together a program specific to the homeowners needs. This program will be designed to eliminate current infestations and can be continued as a rodent prevention program.
These programs are very effective and are common practice in homes, business’s, farms, and cabins. Scheduled service programs include treatments and inspections with emergency call backs between visits handled promptly at no charge.
The most important and difficult step to preventing mouse infestations is exclusion. Your home needs to be sealed up to prevent mice from entering your home. Proper sanitation inside and outside of your home is also key. Exterior rodent bait stations placed around the homes foundation can be effective when safely and properly used.
Keep your yard and garden free from waste and spills of food sources such as bird seed or pet food. Dumpster areas should be clean and lids should seal tight. Keeping a clean home indoors aids in control and prevention. The use of glue board traps or other traps, monitors aid in detecting infestations early on.
